  • New Leaf Nursery 12655 North Government Way Hayden, ID, 83835 United States (map)

Join us for our fourth summer gathering at our Sip, Shop & Culture community event! Nothing beats a magical summer evening at New Leaf Nursery, where nature meets art. Wander through the nursery grounds where you can admire the work of local artists, sip on delicious wine, and indulge in a charcuterie selection from local winery, Rosemary Manor.

Our final Sip, Shop & Culture event of the season will feature THE POLLINATORS — a Pacific Northwest band performing a mix of covers and original tunes. The Pollinators were created by three members of the national touring act Paper Flowers “Remembering Fleetwood Mac” as a fun way to pass the time when not on the road. They are known for their fun, interactive Wednesday night residency at Timbers Roadhouse in Cataldo, Idaho where they cover tunes from their favorite bands, play originals and welcome audience participation and requests. They play an eclectic mix of music that ranges from Elvis to Lady Gaga and everything in between. You’ll hear rock, pop, funk, soul and country with the focus being predominantly on hits from the 70’s, 80’s MTV classics & 90’s.

If it’s a girl’s night out, or a date night with your spouse, we can promise a summer night well spent! Meet local artists and creators as they showcase their talents. Whether you're here to find inspiration, discover one-of-a-kind pieces, or simply unwind with a glass of wine, we welcome you to join us. It's the perfect opportunity to support our local artisan community and mingle with fellow art lovers.

Ponderosa pine trees feel like the spirit of Spokane to Raven, and their long, sturdy needles are the foundation of her basketry. She pairs them with natural fibers in the colors of wildflowers beneath the pines, often adding beads of glass, wood, stone, or metal to echo the forest. Like the trees, these baskets change with time, shifting from green to deep brown while remaining strong in new ways. She began weaving as a child and continues to honor the Native American roots of this tradition by developing her own style and encouraging others to support Native artists.
