CASHIERS
Our cashiers quickly learn to identify a wide variety of plants on sight and to coordinate with other departments to meet customers’ needs. A New Leaf Nursery Cashier position is a great opportunity for people who enjoy gardening, as well as being part of a beautiful garden center filled with home décor, garden art, and gardening aids. Full-time and part-time positions available.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers by accurately ringing up their purchases in a professional and friendly manner.
Assist customers with plant and product questions or locate appropriate staff to answer technical questions.
Help maintain the garden center at New Leaf Nursery.
Work with other departments as needed.
Provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers verbally and in writing.
Able to work well with customers and co-workers in a positive, professional manner.
Able to stand, bend, and do repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
Available to work weekends.
Able to follow instructions; willing to learn and apply New Leaf’s customer service approach.
Responsible, flexible, reliable, and accurate.
Cash handling/cashier experience (or familiarity with point of sale) is a plus. (New Leaf Nursery is willing to provide training.)
General gardening experience & knowledge of INW seasonal plant material and products a plus. (New Leaf Nursery is willing to provide additional training).

Sales Associates
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service while assisting customers with locating desired plant material and hard goods for purchase, while also being able to answer customer questions.
Assist customers by ringing up their purchases in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.
Water, groom, price and stock plants.
Help unload incoming plant material and hard goods as needed.
Promote and maintain New Leaf’s physical cleanliness and order.
Work with coworkers in a positive and professional manner. Willing and capable of partnering with other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
General knowledge of plants, plant care and culture. Horticulture related degree/certifications a significant plus. Landscape design experience a plus.
Must be able to stand, bend, and do repetitive tasks for long periods of time. Be able to lift up to 50-60 pounds on a repetitive basis.
Available to work weekends.
Cashier experience and/or familiarity with POS system a plus (New Leaf is willing to provide training).
Able to follow instructions and willing to learn.

Yard Associates/Loader Operators
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service while safely assisting customer with loading their orders (bulk materials, plant material, bagged materials, hard goods).
Help unload incoming plant material and hard goods as needed.
Promote and maintain New Leaf’s physical cleanliness and order.
Work with coworkers in a positive and professional manner. Willing and capable of partnering with other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
Loader (skid steer, forklift, frontend loader) operator experience. Mechanic experience a plus.
Must be able to stand, bend, and do repetitive tasks for long periods of time. Be able to lift up to 90-100 pounds on a repetitive basis.
Available to work weekends.
Able to follow instructions and willing to learn.
Responsible, reliable, accurate, timely.
Basic carpentry skills is a plus.

Landscape Team
New Leaf Nursery’s Landscape division is looking for crew members who are hardworking and value the idea of contributing to an effective team that delivers quality work.
Qualified candidates must:
Have a willingness to work and the ability to take direction.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Be able to lift up to 90-100 pounds and operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment.
Be able to work continuously for an 8 hour day, with appropriate break periods.
Be able to follow instructions and be willing to learn.
Be responsible, reliable, accurate, and timely.
Previous experience with plants, irrigation, hardscape and equipment operation a plus.

TRUCK DRIVERS
New Leaf Nursery’s trucking division is looking for skilled truck drivers with experience in bulk deliveries. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our team, specializing in efficient and safe transportation for local routes.
QUALIFIed candidates must:
Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)--Class A or B.
Have a working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, including weight restrictions.
Operate various types of equipment and vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
Have experience in adverse driving conditions (gravel, snow- and mud-covered roads) – We do operate in the Inland Northwest!
Load, deliver, and unload bulk materials as a service to customers.
Be responsible, reliable, accurate, and ensure timely and secure deliveries.
Be able to work continuously for an 8 hour day, with appropriate break periods, as well as be available to work weekends.
Have a strong knowledge of local traffic regulations.
Maintain a professional work environment on all delivery sites.
Previous experience with bulk deliveries and equipment operation is a plus.
