When the forsythia blooms, it’s time to prune! And since the forsythia should be blooming in early April, it seems like a good time to talk about rose pruning! Different varieties of roses are pruned differently to achieve not only beautifully shaped rose bushes, but also beautifully shaped AND prolific blooming rose bushes!
Laurie will discuss shaping, as well as fertilization, and general rose care, along with featuring the NEW, coveted David Austin garden roses that will be available at New Leaf Nursery this year! If you are a rose lover, you must attend this class! Each student will receive a 10% off coupon on any rose care product in the nursery. (Coupon must be presented at the time of purchase). Shopping will not be available on the night of class. This class will be held in the white building; use the west door for entry.
