A favorite from the 2021 class line up! The colorful stepping stone class is back, in time for Mother’s Day gifting! Kathy will show us the technique to make colorful custom stepping stones to enhance a garden walkway, a planting area, or just about anywhere you want to add color to your garden. All materials will be provided and you will have the opportunity to make one or two stepping stones, depending on the speed at which you work.
Stones are approximately 12” square and various colors of tiles and gems will be provided to create your own color combinations. You will leave the class with your stone designed and set; because stepping stones take overnight to ‘cure,’ you will go home with a portion of grout that will be applied at home after the tiles have cured. Stepping stones can be sealed with a general sealant, but should be removed prior to the first freeze, and stored in a dry, weather protected environment til the freezing temps have subsided.
The class will be taught in the white building located in the center of the south end of the nursery property. Parking is on the west side of the building.
