Join us for a morning of fun (and a little stickiness!) as we create winter treats for our feathered friends. In this hands-on parent/child class, kids will work alongside a grown-up to make pinecone bird feeders using peanut butter and birdseed.
This free class is designed for children ages 4 and up, and each child must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Each child may create up to three pinecone bird feeders. All supplies will be provided.
The class will be taught by Holly Vesterby and is going to be held in the barn at New Leaf Nursery, and is weather dependent. Please plan to park in the upper east-facing or north-facing parking areas. You will receive an email 1–2 days prior to the class with parking details.
Please note: Peanut butter will be used during this activity. We recommend dressing children in clothes that can get messy.
Two class sessions will be offered, with 8 children per session. Please sign up below for which session you’d like to attend, including the number of kids who are attending.
