Laurie Wilson has dedicated her life to learning the care and maintenance of plants! This lovely lady knows her stuff! We are lucky to have her teaching for us at New Leaf Nursery! This class teaches an introduction to the basics of general pruning, along with which tools are needed to create fullness and promote growth on your plants, and will share tips on how to prolong the life of your tools. Each student will receive a 10% off coupon to be used towards the purchase of garden tools in the nursery garden center
Laurie Wilson studied Horticulture at The Lake Washington Institute of Technology, as well as studying Environmental Horticulture, and Master Pruners Classes, at the University of Washington. Laurie has worked with trees, plants and shrubs for over 20 years, and joined the team at New Leaf Nursery in 2021. Laurie’s knowledge is sought after by our customers daily! We find ourselves saying, ‘Let me get Laurie…she will know!’
