Arbor Day originated in 1872 when J. Sterling Morton proposed a day to plant trees. The holiday is now celebrated in many countries around the world. NIC has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation, and will be distributing seedlings of Water Birch and Western White Pine. New Leaf Nursery will be there supporting the foundation.
