When registering for wholesale pricing, please bring proof of your established landscape or contracting business. Acceptable forms of proof: Business license number or proof of business insurance, and a sales tax number or federal tax ID number.
ORDERS
New Leaf Nursery is designed to provide an excellent customer experience. As such, we encourage you to come in and shop with your client when desired. Begin by picking up a sales sheet at the contractor sales desk to fill out as they shop with you. Send your client home when they’ve finished picking out plant material, and then take your sales sheet back to the contractor's desk to pay. This ensures your pricing remains confidential.
If you are unable to shop with your client, we are equipped to give advice and make great suggestions for them as they shop the nursery. This service is charged hourly on a case-by-case basis dependent on the time involved. Please contact us 24 hours prior to their arrival if you choose this option. Monday-Thursday are the best days for us to assist clients in this manner. Be sure your client brings a clear and detailed list that includes what zone they live in, their budget for the project, and a general count of the shrubs, evergreens, deciduous trees, and any other material to be purchased. Keep in mind that many of our trees have the potential to be quite large and may require equipment to move and/or plant.
Clients are also welcome to take a self-guided shopping tour of the nursery, to take pictures and create a list of plants to discuss with you.
Orders are accepted in person at the nursery, over the phone, or via email. Note that a 3% charge is applied on everything purchased via the phone or online. If it is not charged at the time of material purchase, you will be invoiced 3% afterward in addition.
When placing an order, please provide the following information:
List of desired plant material. Please include desired pot and/or caliper size, and price.
Job name (homeowner’s name or job address), and budget when possible -- Intended time frame to pick up plant material
ESTIMATES
Estimates are provided via email at sarahn@newleafnursery.com, and can be requested in person at the nursery, over the phone, or via email. Requests for estimates must include:
List of desired plant material
Architectural or design plan of the job
Job name (homeowner’s name or job address)
Confirmation as to whether the job has been accepted or not
PRE-BOOKINGS
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for all spring pre-bookings. Orders must be emailed to sarahn@newleafnursery.com by September 15th. The deadline for spring order plant material pickups is May 1st.
HOLDING POLICY
Pulled plant material orders held at the nursery for longer than two weeks may be subject to a maintenance fee. A 25% restocking fee will be charged for canceled orders that have already been received and pulled.
PICKUP
We are open for material pickups weekly Monday-Friday. Please call or text the contractor desk 24 hours prior to pick up so we can have your order ready to go when you arrive. If unable to give notice ahead of time, call, or text even if you arrive minutes after. Calling or texting ahead makes it easier for us to gather and load plants, and generally keep your visit as brief and efficient as possible.
WARRANTY POLICY & DISCLAIMER
Plant materials will be cared for by New Leaf Nursery staff until the time of pickup. Once live materials leave New Leaf care, they are the responsibility of the contractor or the contractors' client and will not be covered under the New Leaf Nursery retail warranty. Returns, exchanges, and any other quality disputes will be determined by New Leaf Nursery on a case-by-case basis at the contractor sales desk.
New Leaf Nursery is not responsible for securing loads, or for any accidents, injuries, or damage incurred on New Leaf property. New Leaf shall not be responsible for any bodily injury or property damage associated with any purchased materials.
NURSERY SALES
When purchasing plant material during nursery-wide sales such as our annual Fall Sale, the highest discount will be applied.
