Thank you for choosing New Leaf Nursery for your Bulk Material delivery. We take pride in providing our customers with a seamless experience from start to finish. Please read the following information prior to your delivery and let us know if you need to provide us with any further delivery instructions.

SCHEDULING

DELIVERY LOCATION

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the Bulk Material Coordinator with all pertinent information prior to the day of delivery. Any information that may hinder or delay the delivery must be noted prior to the Driver’s arrival.

The general delivery fee includes delivery on an improved surface ONLY. The driver will back up onto a driveway and dump the load in the designated location. They cannot drive over any sidewalks, lawns, soft ground, or sprinkler systems.

If you would like to request special delivery, you must communicate that to the Bulk Material Coordinator and provide detailed pictures of the requested drop location.

PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to request a special delivery outside of the standard drop location, the delivery fee is subject to change.

It is at the Driver’s discretion to determine if the requested location is safe for them to drop on or drive over. If it is determined that they cannot deliver in the requested area and you cannot receive your order in any other location, we cannot refund the delivery fee.

If it is determined and communicated that the location is tricky or questionable and the Driver gets stuck, it is the responsibility of the homeowner to pay for any fees if it is determined that a tow truck will need to be brought in.

DAY OF DELIVERY

DELIVERY TIME WINDOW

At the time of scheduling with the Bulk Material Coordinator, you will be provided with a window for the delivery. It does not guarantee the exact time you will receive your order.

For example, if you are given a 9:00 am to 11:00 am window, it does not mean the driver will be at your location at 9:00 am. If our delivery driver is running late and can not make it to your location within the time window provided, the Bulk Material Coordinator will contact you with an updated time window.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE PRESENT FOR THE DELIVERY, PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY:

1.    Prior to the day of delivery, it is your responsibility to communicate if special circumstances are required. i.e. a request for a smaller truck due to space issues. Our dump trucks require AT LEAST 8 feet width of clearance on small loads and 14 feet on loads of 10 yards or more. If you have any plants, shrubs, or visibility concerns that will delay the drop, you are required to note that prior to delivery.

2.    The Driver must have verbal confirmation, prior to being loaded, that you are there and ready to receive your order. Please make sure to either have your phone readily available or provide us with the phone number of someone who can give us verbal confirmation.

a.    If the driver does not hear from you, we will wait a maximum of 15 minutes and then will need to move on to the next delivery. In order to ensure each customer receives their order in the window provided to them, your delivery will be moved to the end of the day. Once the driver has made the other deliveries, there will be another attempt to make your delivery.

3.    Our Drivers can wait a maximum of 15 minutes, once they have made it to your location. if they are unable to make the drop within that window, your delivery will need to be rescheduled and another delivery fee will be charged before they can make a second attempt.

IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO BE THERE, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

1.    In order to confirm your order and schedule you, you will be required to pay for your order in full.

2.    Please provide the Bulk Material Coordinator with any pertinent information that will need to be communicated to the driver.

3.    The driver will still call you to let you know they are on their way. If you are unable to answer the phone, you must give the Bulk Material Coordinator verbal confirmation at the time of scheduling that you acknowledge the order, and that it is okay to deliver even if the driver does not hear from you.

4.    The area must be clearly marked to let the driver know where to drop it. You can either email a picture of the location to the Bulk Material Coordinator or mark the area with a tarp, cone, or even a cardboard box labeled “Drop Here”.

5.    If you would like a paper copy of your receipt, please provide the Bulk Material Coordinator, at the time of scheduling, with the location you would like to have the driver place the receipt.

CALCULATING THE DELIVERY FEE

Please note: Our delivery fee is based on time and location. Due to the increase in activity throughout the season in our area and road construction, your delivery fee is subject to change depending on the time your order is placed. We strive to make the process as fair as possible and appreciate your understanding.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require a 48-hour notice prior to the delivery in order to receive a full refund. If you do not cancel within the cancellation window, there will be a cancellation fee of 20% applied to your order.

If you are scheduled for multiple loads and determine that you no longer need additional truckloads day-of-delivery we can only refund as store credit in the form of a physical gift card or e-gift card.

We understand that there are circumstances outside of your control, and we asked that you communicate with us any changes you have as soon as you can. Below is all the contact information for Christianna Beebout, the Bulk Material Coordinator.
