Laurie has dedicated her life to learning the care and maintenance of plants! This class teaches an introduction to the basics of general pruning, along with which tools are needed to create fullness and promote growth on your plants, and will share tips on how to prolong the life of your tools. Each student will receive a 10% off coupon to be used towards the purchase of garden tools in the nursery garden center
Laurie studied Horticulture at The Lake Washington Institute of Technology, as well as studying Environmental Horticulture, and Master Pruners Classes, at the University of Washington. Laurie has worked with trees, plants and shrubs for over 20 years.
The class will be taught in the white building located in the center of the south end of the nursery property. Parking can be found on the west side of the building.
PLEASE NOTE: In order for New Leaf Nursery to create successful events for everyone involved, class attendance for every class must be at a minimum of 8 people. Each class is subject to cancellation if less than the minimum class registration requirement is not achieved.
